Our Combed Face units achieve a subtle vertical texture and naturally rough look by means of small vertical grooves molded into the unit face. This finish can be applied to scored units as well.
Combed Face units provide an economical alternative to traditional finished-face CMUs, while giving a building envelope a more textural appearance.

All Combed Face units contain integral water repellent admixtures at the time of manufacture, and meet or exceed all ASTM C-90 and National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) standards.
